Comic Bags - carry a comic!

The Comic Bags project started in 2004, with the bags "Spindeln" (The Spider). The idea came up when I was working on a comic strip for a newspaper but had no idea about what story to tell, the creative block was total. The three empty squares in front of me on the paper desperately needed content. I then suddenly got the idea to add content outside the squares instead - by adding handles to them. I really liked the idea to carry a comic, imagine if you one day would meet someone carrying another part of your story! I've made all the bags by hand.
